Down to Earth

Dear Bloggy,

I wanted to write something but these days, I have no mood at all. I guess it's because I've been writing too much on dissertation that makes me wanna take a break from writing for a while. Tonight, my mood is back.

I just had a birthday dinner just now. It was an advanced birthday party for Rita. I think she felt touched by the surprise cake and dinner for her. I guess that would be the last birthday party I attended in Flat 5 of Orwell Close. Because by tomorrow, I will officially move out from my room. Feel a little bit sad of course.

Flat 5 is special. I mean I was really lucky to have met such a wonderful flatmates who I have laughed and cried with. They are not just flatmates but friends that can rely on and take care of each other. I really going to miss them.

P/S: The blog will not be updated for a while starting from tomorrow because I'm travelling to Spain and Portugal.

Dear Bloggy,

I've submitted my dissertation today at 10am. Feel very relieved now but how I wish I have more time to explore more about my topic. Anyway, I feel happy that I did it ^^.

Also, today Ramadhan starts. Alhamdulillah, because I was really looking forward to it. This would be my last time spending Ramadhan here. Sometimes, I feel a little bit sad thinking about leaving UK for good. I've gone through lots of things (good and bad memories). Some of my friends always thought that those who came to study overseas are having fun. Well, honestly in reality it's not like what they've imagined. I am a survivor. I came here to study and also need to study harder because knowing the fact that there are locals who are nattive speakers competing with me in academics. I've becoming more independent and make my own decision wisely in any case. I do miss my family and friends back in Malaysia while staying here. However, I get used to it and kept walking forward everyday. And I am proud to say that I am brave enough to stay here for 4 years.

Anyway, my flight is on the 23rd of September from Norwich to KLIA and it is confirmed. Happy to go back home and start a new life in Malaysia.
